Abstract

AbstractAcid‐promoted Aube—Schmidt rearrangement of arylmethyl azides provides an intermediary iminium ion which can be trapped by aromatic nucleophiles leading to N‐arylmethyl arenes and by heteroaromatic compounds lading to polyheterocyclic compounds.
