AbstractThe new hexaniobate cluster K10 [(Nb6O19)CrIII(H2O)2] 2·28H2O is synthesized from an aqueous mixture of K7HNb6O19, CrCl3, en, and HCl (autoclave, pH 10.60—11.00, 160 °C, 5 d) followed by diffusion into a mixture of ethanol and water in the volume ratio of 1:2.5 (15% yield).
