AbstractSingle crystals of K2Ca[Si2O5](CO3) are prepared by hydrothermal treatment of a 3:1:2:1 molar mixture of K2CO3, CaO, SiO2, and B2O3 (autoclave, 270—290 °C, 70—100 atm, 18—20 d).
