AbstractNa3UO4 is prepared by solid state reaction of pre‐heated, nearly stoichiometric UO2 and a mixture of Na2O and Na2O2 corresponding to a composition of Na2O1.14 (stainless steel container, 1073 K, 12 h, 1173 K, 24 h, and 1273 K, 24 h for the m, β, and α phases, resp.).
