AbstractDer Z‐ (Ia) und der E‐Crotonsäureester (IV) geben mit Cyclopentadien ausschließlich die (2+4)‐Addukte (IIa) bzw. (V) und (VI), wogegen der Z‐Zimtsäureester (Ib) sowohl das (2 +4)‐ (IIb) als auch das (2+2)‐Cyclopentadien‐Addukt (III) liefert.
