Abstract

Chemiluminescence of Pr 3+ is observed upon decomposition of adamantylideneadamantane-1,2-dioxetane (AAD) catalysed by β-diketonates Pr(L) 3 (L = fod or dpm), the excitation of Pr 3+ occurring through intracomplex energy transfer from the excited adamantanone formed upon decomposition of AAD in the complex Pr(L) 3 ·AAD.
