Abstract

Selective surfaces of PbS with SnO 2 and ZnO antireflection coatings have been designed and fabricated using solution growth and spray pyrolysis techniques. The spectral reflectances of these systems have been calculated using the matrix multiplication method. The thickness of each layer has been optimized to obtain α > 0.90. The best values of α and ϵ 100 obtained are 0.93 and 0.16 for the PbS/SnO 2 system, and 0.92 and 0.15 for the PbS/ZnO system.
