Abstract

In the present work, the powders of partially Al-substituted MgO-ZnO (s.s.) powders were chemically prepared by the thermal decomposition of co-precipitated Al-Zn-Mg oxalate. The effects of partially substituted Al on the photoluminescence (PL) spectra measured at room temperature with ultraviolet ray's excitation source were investigated. The powders were analyzed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) method.
