Abstract

Along with botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, chemical peels have a valuable place on every clinic's medical aesthetic treatment menu. However, despite this, aesthetic nurses around the UK could be neglecting the opportunity to offer this treatment modality, along with post-treatment skin care. In this article, which is the introduction to a series on chemical peels, the authors discuss if and why aesthetic nurses should provide chemical peels, before delving into the how and who in future issues.
