Abstract
Presented is a chemical log-domain filter in which an ion sensitive field effect transistor (ISFET) is used to expand a naturally log-compressed chemical signal to derive a chemically-dependent lossy-integrator, whose gain and bandwidth are functions of ion concentration. This is used to integrate small chemical signals or have a filter adaptable to changes in chemical concentration.
