Abstract

By an example of two explosive mixtures of the oxidizer-fuel type, the effect of chemical reactions between the components of the mixture on the critical parameters of explosion initiation by an impact is considered. It is shown that the contribution of intermolecular reactions to the energy balance of the mixture increases with the magnitude of the oxygen balance of the oxidizer. Accordingly, the mixture becomes more sensitive to the impact.
