Abstract

Differences in population development of the twospotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, were observed on 5 hop varieties. Data collected from plants grown in the greenhouse and in the field indicated a positive correlation between farnesol content of the host plant and susceptibility to twospotted spider mite infestation.
