Abstract

The purpose of this test was to determine the effects of various pesticides on AMB, a vector of little cherry virus 2 (LChV2), a cause of little cherry disease in sweet cherry. This test was conducted in a mixed “Delicious” apple block with “Golden Delicious” pollinizers in the Washington State University Sunrise orchard near Rock Island, WA. The trial took place in an apple orchard due to heavy infestation of AMB, but materials and timings simulated those available for use on cherry.
