Abstract

Thirteen compounds, including coumarins (1−4), phenols (5−10) and others (11−13), were isolated from the stems of Ostodes paniculata Bl. Their structures were elucidated by NMR, MS analyses and comparison with literature data. Compounds (1−2, 4−13) were isolated from the Ostodes genus for the first time. The chemotaxonomical significance of the isolated compounds was also discussed, based on the chemical constituents from some plants of Trib. Cluytieae Pax (Euphorbiaceae).
