Abstract

AbstractA new glyceroglycolipid, 1‐O‐(9Z,12Z‐octadecadienoyl)‐3‐O‐[β‐D‐galactopyranosyl‐(1→6)‐O‐β‐D‐galactopyranosyl‐(1→6)‐α‐D‐galactopyranosyl] glycerol (1); a new ester, 3‐carboxyethyl‐3‐hydroxyglutaric acid 1,5‐dimethyl ester (2), together with four known compounds were isolated from the ethanolic extract of the aerial parts of Lysimachia clethroides. The structures of compounds 1 and 2 were elucidated on the basis of physical data analysis (1D and 2D NMR, HR‐ESIMS) and chemical evidence.
