Abstract

One technology that also has the potential is used in composting organic waste with earthworms or vermicomposting to protect our environment. A technology for composting municipal organic waste has been found using the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae. Both decomposer agents will make the best role in the treatment of organic waste so that when it is combined with the right techniques, the decomposition process will produce a combination of bio-vermigot fertilizer. The purpose of this study was to produce a combination of vermicompost and kasgot (bio-vermigot) with earthworms and BSF larvae. The method uses Factorial Randomized Block Design with DMRT test at the 5% level. The pH in almost all treatments was neutral (6.3-8.2), the water content in all treatments exceeded the national standard (more than 25%), C-organic according to the standard only in the treatment without decomposer agents (20%), The content of Nitrogen in 100% earthworm with cow manure (2.45%) and 100% BSF larvae with cow manure (2.05%). The combination of decomposer agents that can produce bio-vermigot with the best Phosphorus content is 25% earthworms: BSF larvae 75% with banana stem waste, Potassium and C/N ratio in all treatments not eligible with national standards.
