Abstract

A series of alkylene amine phenols including En(AP) 2, Pn(AP) 2, DmPn(AP) 2, Bn(AP) 2 and Pent(AP) 2, were synthesized and complexations of the amine phenols with a trace-level 99mTcO 4 − were undertaken in the presence of Sn 2+. The 99mTc-amine phenol complexes obtained were characterized simultaneously by solvent extraction, TLC, electrophoresis and HPLC. The labeling yield, neutrality, lipophilicity and stability of the 99mTc-amine phenol complexes were sufficiently investigated. The chemical behaviors of the complexes of no-carrier-added 99mTc with the amine phenols found in observed study are related to the lengths of hydrocarbon backbones of the ligands.
