Abstract
Entrapment of the superficial sensory branch of the radial nerve in the forearm was described by Robert Wartenberg in 1932. This chronic nerve entrapment syndrome is scarcely mentioned in the English-language articles or texts. This article is a translation in condensed form of Wartenberg's original German text.
