Abstract
Summary Examination of types has shown that Cheilanthes tinaei Tod. (1866) and C. corsica Reichstein et Vida (1973) belong to the same species. Synonymy, iconography and distribution of C. tinaei in Sicily is given together with distribution of C. maderensis Lowe and C. pteridioides (Reichard) C. Chr. on this island.
