Abstract

Chattering-free sliding mode control (SMC) for discrete-time singular systems (DSS) with internal parameter perturbation and external disturbance is considered in the paper. The dynamic switching function is used to guarantee the stability of the DSS in switching band. The discrete ideal reaching law of the DDS is designed to eliminate the restriction of the DDS whose uncertainties are bounded compared with conventional SMC. The sliding mode controller for DSS is designed by applying the ideal reaching law, which can not only guarantee the systems to reach the switching plane in finite time and decrease the system chattering effectively, but also reduce the region of the switching band. The validity of the proposed approach is illustrated by a numerical example.
