Abstract

Abstract: With her new book Loss and Cultural Remains in Performance: The Ghosts of the Franklin Expedition, Heather Davis-Fisch’s recalibrates aspects of the lengthy Franklin saga explored by scholars in other disciplines, offering performance scholars an opportunity to think across these specialists’ categories of epistemology, and to test a limit case on “how performance studies can intervene in the production of historical knowledge.”
