Abstract
We study the charmonium spectral functions in quark-gluon plasma on 643 × Nτ quenched anisotropic lattices with anisotropy aσ /aτ = 4, analyzing correlation functions of charmonia by the maximum entropy method (MEM). We focus on finite momentum effects on the charmonium spectral functions in order to understand J/ψ suppression mechanism in relativistic heavy ion collisions from the first principles of QCD.
