Abstract

We have made a new measurement of the branching ratio Γ(D + → K 0 K +) Γ(D + → K 0 π +) and the first measurement of Γ(D + → K 0 K ∗+) Γ(D + → K 0 π +) . The data were accumulated in the 1990–1991 fixed target running period of Fermilab high energy photoproduction experiment E687. We measure Γ(D + → K 0 K +) Γ(D + → K 0 π +) = 0.25 ± 0.04 ± 0.02 and Γ(D + → K 0 K ∗+) Γ(D + → K 0 π +) = 1.1 ± 0.3 ± 0.4 .
