Abstract

Abstract A chance viewing of a UK veterinary Facebook appeal for a BSAVA Manual of Shelter Medicine for use in a rescue sanctuary in Barbados was the unusual link for BSAVA to discover the amazing work being done to improve the lives of hundreds of rescued dogs and cats on the island. The BSAVA was happy to donate a copy of the BSAVA Manual of Shelter Medicine to this worthy cause which, by chance, coincided with BSAVA President Alison Speakman being able to personally visit the sanctuary during a family holiday.
