Abstract

The total cross section for electron capture is being calculated in this paper for 2s state of hydrogen atom in proton-potassium collision. The energy range chosen for the calculation is 50 keV to 10,000 keV and we have used Coulomb projected Born (CPB) approximation method. Also the differential cross section at different scattering angle has been calculated. The result obtained are compared with available theoretical data and found it to be in good agreement.
