Abstract
Charge transfer and excitation cross sections in C 2+ + He collisions are calculated employing a molecular expansion for energies 300 eV ≤ E ≤ 4 keV. Quantal and semiclassical impact-parameter methods are used and the results are compared with available experimental data.
