Abstract
We find constraints put on the average pion multiplicities in deep-inelastic neutrino-induced production by assuming only the charge symmetry and isospin structure of the usual Cabibbo theory together with scaling. Similar, but more restrictive, results are derived in the context of the quark-parton model. Using the parton model, we relate neutrino-induced production and electroproduction multiplicities.
