Abstract
Motivated by the charge order (CO) and superconductivity (SC) in θ - ( ET ) 2 X salts, we study the extended Hubbard model in a two-dimensional triangular lattice with variational Monte Carlo method. We show that the nearest-neighbor Coulomb interaction V induces charge fluctuation and the 3-fold CO state is stabilized. We also discuss the possibility of next-nearest-neighbor f-wave SC induced by charge fluctuation.
