Abstract

Charge-odd correlation of charged pair particles produced in electron–proton scattering contains information on three-current correlation averaged over the proton state. In general, this type of correlation is described by 14 structure functions. We restrict our consideration to exclusive distributions of pairs which are related to the light-cone projection of the relevant hadronic tensor. Moreover, we consider a point-like approximation for proton and pion which is valid in the region of proton fragmentation. Numerical estimations show that charge-odd effects can be measured in exclusive ep → e′p′2π and ep → e′p′2l experiments.
