Abstract

Objective To discuss charge nurse's important function in management on clinic specialty tutorial-system teaching in operating room. Methods Ten new nurses trained in general surgery team and thoracic surgery team in July 2006 and in August 2007 were selected, and divided into two groups by the year. The tutorial-system teaching mode was applied. The training data were analyzed and summarized, which were formed in teaching process by using beth learning-note standardization management and twin points one checking management. Results The difference between two groups of new nurses, including finished pieces and eligible pieces, score of specialty operations, basic operation and learning note showed significant (P < 0.01). Conclusions The important means to overcome the deficiency of teacher to ensure the clinic teaching quality are charge nurse's rational teaching plans by which teachers' ratio on position can be assured, applying the clinic specialty grading teaching method, improving assistants' teaching ability and intensifying teacher' s total management consciousness in tutorial-system teaching management.
