Abstract

The Cu K-edge resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) spectrum on Hubbard ladder model is examined by using the exact diagonalization method on finite clusters. We find that the spectral feature does not change upon small hole doping compared with that for the two-dimensional square lattice case. The result suggests that the RIXS can provide an opportunity for revealing the charge excitation of the ladder cuprates.
