Abstract

Three types of isobaric resonances—giant Gamow–Teller, analog, and pygmy resonances (GTR, AR, and PR, resonances)—are studied within the microscopic theory of finite Fermi systems and its model approximation. The calculated GTR, AR, and PR energies agree well with experimental data. The parameters of local Landau–Migdal isospin–isospin and spin–isospin interactions are determined from a comparison of the calculated GTR, AR, and PR energies with experimental data. A comparison of the values obtained for these parameters with their counterparts deduced by other others from experimental data on charge–exchange reactions demonstrates agreement within the errors in the majority of cases.
