Abstract
We complete our programme of deriving characters of the N = 4 algebra A γ , containing two SU(2) Kac-Moody subalgebras, by treating the complications arising for massless representations. We find it useful to work directly with the algebra A ̃ γ , A γ being the direct sum of that and four free fermions plus a U(1) FM. Only in A ̃ γ do massless representations have non-vanishing Witten index. Several consistency checks on our explicit formulas are given.
