Abstract

This paper presents a structural study of Sr-substituted hydroxyapatites carried out by the full profile Rietveld method. A series of samples having different degrees of substitution was prepared by the mechanochemical method, which offers possibilities of the fast synthesis of these compounds. For the first time, it was shown that strontium and calcium cations located in the M2 site do not have the same positions.
