Abstract

A preliminary investigation of monomeric soybean leghemoglobin a in oxy- and deoxy-forms was carried out for the first time using Mossbauer spectroscopy with a high velocity resolution at 90 K. Mossbauer parameters of measured spectra were evaluated and compared with that for the results of the well-known monomeric heme protein, myoglobin.
