Abstract

We have previously reported that about 75% of children with cow's milk allergy tolerate baked milk in a form of a muffin (BM); baked milk diet appears to accelerate the development of unheated milk tolerance. In addition, BM-reactive children have more persistent milk allergy and higher risk for anaphylaxis. In this follow-up study we sought to characterize milk-allergic children in regard to tolerance to variable baked milk products.
