Abstract

Based on the data gained from the medical records and rapid screening of the level of physical health (by G. L. Apanasenko method), the paper presents results of the studies of morbidity and the level of physical health in students, as well as defines priority classes of diseases. The analysis of illness incidence among the students allowed to establish the dynamics of morbidity and to define its specific characteristics and differences. An overview of factors limiting the level of health of the students is provided, the necessity of screening for indicators of physical health, which is one of the main components of physical education management in high school, is substantiated. Motor activity measures are determined and factors affecting the amount of physical activity of students are disclosed.
