Abstract

In this paper we report some preliminary results obtained through an analytical and simulation approach and relevant to a Surveillance Secondary Radar (SSR) monopulse extractor to be devised in a discrete address system for Air Traffic Control (ATC). This research concerns a national special project for ATC financed by the Italian National Research Council, and which is also to develop new secondary radar systems.
