Abstract
This work describes a Q-band microwave reflectometer designed to obtain electron-density profiles of the plasma in the tokamak TJ-1. We present a brief study of the conditions for applying this technique to the tokamak TJ-1 as well as the experimental results obtained with a solid state sweep oscillator that eliminates the uncertainty sometimes involved in interpreting reflectometry results.
