Abstract

Although the levonorgestrel intrauterine device (LNG-IUD) has been associated with a reduced risk of recurrent dysmenorrhea after laparoscopy in women with endometriosis, many patients do not respond to this therapy. In this study, we aimed to assess characteristics among women who experience persistent endometriosis pain after laparoscopy and LNG-IUD placement.
