Abstract
The use of modern nanotechnologies is one of the main ways to increase cereal yields to meet the growing global demand for food. It was found that pre-sowing treatment of seeds with a composition of iron NP in a concentration of 10 -5%, zinc NP in a concentration of 10 -4% contributes to a 27% increase in energy for seed germination and root mass compared to the control. The highest height of the plant (by 8.2%) and the green mass (by 8. 5%) were observed in the experimental variant during the pre-sowing treatment of zinc NP seeds. The leaf area in the pre-sowing treatment of NP iron and NP zinc seeds increased by 18.2 and 33%, respectively. The highest specific leaf area index (28% higher than the control), calculated as the ratio of leaf area to dry weight, was found for wheat leaves when processing zinc NP seeds
