The lower 1st member of Shahejie Fm. in the Huanghua Depression is dominated by carbonate rocks, and it is dominant reservoir in this area. The trace elements in Kongdian-Yangsanmu, Qijiawu, and Qi’nan in the Huanghua Depression showed great differences of content and distribution in different pays but closer distribution of Sr, Ba, V, Mn, Th, and U among each area and decreasing contents of Ni, Pb, Zn, etc. indicating variation of depositional environment in lacustrine carbonate rocks of the Huanghua Depression lake basin during diagenesis. The carbon and oxygen isotopes indicated the degree of lake water salinization.
