Abstract

Free Electron Laser with tunable wavelength and high peak power based on electron accelerators can be produced in oscillator mode (0-FEL) including optical cavity system. In this study, optimization of the main parameters of undulator magnets U35 and U110 of TARLA 0scillator FEL facility are optimized to obtain FEL beams in 3 - 250 micron wavelengths. The types and materials of undulator magnets are defined and magnetic field patterns are obtained by RADIA software. The bandwidth of the FEL beams are defined and the parameter optimization required for maximum gain is done and the maximum deflection angle of electron beam in undulator magnets are defined. As a result, based on defined U35 and U110 undulators parameters, the wavelength, energy, peak and average photon fluxes and brightness, gain and lost percentages, peak and average powers of proposed FEL beams are given.
