Abstract
The transmission curves of the energy filter for an MX7304A mass spectrometer are determined by analyzing the transmission of an ion beam with a small ion-energy spread through the filter. A beam of potassium ions produced by heating a tungsten ribbon coated with a layer of potassium hydroxide was used.
