Abstract

This work contains the results connected with the planetary boundary layer (PBL) structure and dynamics in the “ocean-continent” zone in the summer period restored from the lidar soundings. The characteristic parameters of the PBL and ways of formation of its structure and dynamics are ascertained. On the example of several summer days, specific features of the PBL structure and dynamics of this region are shown. The mean PBL heights, top of the convective layer, mean height of the stable layer, and maximal altitudes of breeze circulation are presented.
