Abstract
The monograph is devoted to research processes of restoration of soil and vegetation cover on the rocks dumps of coal deposits of Primorye Territory. The rates of restoration of vegetation and soil cover have been established depending on the composition of the rock and the topography of the dumps. A detailed analysis of the composition of plant communities by life forms, ecological and cenotic groups of species was carried out. The main factors influencing the speed and direction of the processes of self-overgrowing of dumps have been identified. The suitability of dump rocks of different age and composition for biological reclamation is assessed. Monitoring studies of the process of vegetation cover development in reclaimed areas of coal deposits were carried out. The questions of the state of reclamation of technogenic landscapes in the Primorsky Territory are considered. The book is intended for soil scientists, ecologists, forestry specialist, geobotanists, experts on land recultivation, and also students of the corresponding specialties.
