Abstract

Background: Clinical registries have a growing role in the measurement of healthcare quality, especially with increasing demand for public reporting of outcomes by healthcare regulators. However, it is unclear how many countries utilise registries in assessing quality of care and outcomes of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The aim of this study was to review the characteristics of PCI registries from around the world.
