Abstract

We demonstrate an amplitude-equalized rational harmonic mode-locked short-cavity laser employing a bismuth-based erbium-doped fiber and a bismuth-based nonlinear fiber. Stable short pulses up to 40GHz are obtained over the wavelength tuning range covering the CL-band.
