Abstract
An iodophilic intracellular polysaccharide has been isolated from cells of Clostridium pasteurianum. This polysaccharide has been shown to be unbranched and to contain α[1 → 4]-and α[1 → 6]-linked glucopyranose residues in a ratio of 3:2.
