Abstract

For loading purposes the FRG firms use to the same extent both electrohydraulic and mechanical devices, with the former being utilized for very large loads and multicomponent loading. The firms' test-machine gripping devices are provided with hydraulic and electrohydraulic drives. Their test-machine force-measuring devices are provided, in addition to dynamometers with strain-gauge transducers and electronic measurement-processing equipment, also with pendulum instruments. The firms are unitizing on a wide scale their test-machine assemblies and installations such as frames, loading and gripping devices, dynamometers, etc. Electronic computing and controlling machines are widely used for controlling testing, processing test results, and obtaining test reports.
